Trash_Treasure explores how value is constructed within a consumption-driven visual culture. The project questions prevailing hierarchies of beauty and redirects attention toward what is usually pushed to the margins: the banal, the worn, the bodily, the residue.

By isolating these elements from their original context, the work unsettles accepted notions of taste and reveals the mechanisms through which perception — and value — are formed.
